David and Anya
David and I went to Georgia for a week while Scott prepared for the end of his semester. David and his cousin Anya had a good time playing together but it was tricky to get a photo of them both looking and staying in the same spot at the same time.
This one in front of the Atlanta Temple at least shows them smiling and sitting at the same time.
We went to a park with Aunt Loraine, Lisa and Ryan, John and Lindy and Anya. This is what we like to see when the day is done.
We visited the zoo and David loved being able to touch the animals.
Anya has some great tricks and is pretty talented. Here she is just before she stands straight up using no hands.
David ate his first hot dog ever, and then his second. (The weather was beautiful the whole time we were there so we went to a couple of different parks).
David and Anya became good friends. David can walk pretty well now but Anya can run circles around him as you will see in the video.

Hat's and Hair
I decided to sort through David's clothes to get ready for summer and we found a bunch of hats. Most of them are too small for him and he wouldn't keep them on very long anyway, but we had fun trying them on both of us.
David could use a good hat to cover his hair cut. I tried cutting it for about 30 minutes while he was in the tub, then another 15 minutes while he was watching cartoons. We still need to have a round three to fix it, it is terribly crooked. How do you cut a toddlers hair?? It's a good thing that at least he doesn't mind it's not straight.

Spring Break
Aunt Alita came to visit and play with David over spring break. David enjoyed having her here to play with and share her pizza.
We celebrated Scott's quarter of a century birthday, even though we didn't have that many candles.
We took a short but fun trip to Nauvoo. We visited the temple, took a wagon ride, went swimming, saw a couple of church movies, went to Carthage, saw a play by senior couples, and lots of other exciting things.
Outside of Carthage Jail..
Swimming at the motel.. David LOVED it, except for this pool toy.
While Alita was here we also visited a few of the museums and the zoo but the cutest animal we saw was still our little David.

It is a work in progress but David is walking better and better each day.
