Here are some random pictures of David that are just for fun. Hope you enjoy.

With winter having arrived, David is now sporting more sweaters, here is his hoody from Aunt Joanne.

David never gets more comments about anything than his blue eyes, which quite frankly, we don't know where he gets them from as both of us have green eyes.

David slowly but surely is learning how to go mobile, he mostly just slithers on his stomachs but will occasionally try to go up on his knees.

There is nothing really to be said about this one as it simply speaks for itself.

JUST ONE MONTH 'TIL CHRISTMAS!!!

I can hardly believe that Christmas is just one month away, that means that David is almost one! He can hardly believe it either!

We had a wonderful time Thanksgiving Day this past week. We had dinner with a couple in our ward, she is from South Korea and he is from Germany. Even though Sue Ann was the only American there, we still were very grateful for all that we enjoy. Also, as per tradition, Thanksgiving Day was spent putting up all of our Christmas decorations. Like any good father, I involved my son by making him untangle the knotted mess of lights bundled up from the year before.

David's favorite part, however, were the bulbs that we hung up on the tree. He got a real kick out of seeing his face in them when he got really close.

Food and Play

David sure grows up fast. With eight teeth in place he likes to eat real food, and he likes to do it on his own. If we ever try to feed him he gets mad, but put it on his tray and he will jam it right into his mouth. For example, here David is ferociously attacking a piece of bread. (the poor bread didn't stand a chance).

To balance the times when David is not eating or sleeping he maintains a routine of constant play. He especially likes playing on the keyboard. It is impossible to play when he is around as he has to be on your lap playing along.

David also likes playing with his Dad, as his Dad appears to be an endless source of thriller-like amusement rides that toss and throw him around. Here he is being swung in a pillow case.

Unfortunately when Dad is not around David is forced to find other ways to amuse himself. Luckily we started David young in getting him acquainted with our built in baby-sitter that plugs right into the wall. Hours of enjoyment without having to move a muscle!

Fall in Oak Park

Every time we put David in his high chair he gets angry and hides his head in his arms. We have to hold down his arms and make him taste his first bite before he'll let us feed him. The other trick is to just give him a cheerio, I guess he's like his parents and could live off of cereal.The tree's have changed colors now and every street is beautiful. This is the street in front of our apartment. Luckily the city (and our landlord) take care of the cleanup of the leaves.
Most of the streets in Oak Park are lined with trees similar to this. There are so many beautiful houses and streets here, this is a great time of year.
While Scott was hard at work preparing for his classes, David and I went to the Field Museum and the Museum of Science and Industry with our friend Andrea. We saw exhibits about cows, chickens, tractors, a frog with glowing eyes and almost anything else that relates to science or industry. We saw the inside of an Apollo mission space craft and a life size U-boat.This is a picture of us taking a picture of a screen that senses our body heat. Both Museums were great and we can't wait to go back. We also saw a t-rex named Sue but by that time we were too tired to dig through the diaper bag for the camera.

We enjoy our apartment and David doesn't seem to mind the hard floors too much. He's already a tease and he likes to wrestle. Although not as impressive as his cousins Reina and Anya, David can get around great. This video was a request from Grandma Salmon.
